Notice of a Special General Meeting to pass Special Resolutions.
The emergent representation of the Kilcoy Chamber calls for a change to the Constitution to accommodate the development of regional membership.
75% of members present must vote in the affirmative for the resolutions to take effect.
- Resolve to: Change of name of the legal entity Kilcoy Chamber of Commerce Inc to a) Somerset Business Chamber. Hereby to be referred to as “new entity” for the purpose of the special resolution 3.
- Resolve to: Provide alternative names in accordance with Associations Incorporation ACT 1981 as noted ITEM (A)ITEM(A) Alternative names offered: (i). Business Chamber Somerset (ii). Somerset Business Incorporated.
- Resolve to: Advise Somerset Regional Business Alliance Inc of the newly named entity and comply with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading Rules being: (i) Advise QLD Office of Fair trading within 3 months of the date of the resolution (ii) Association to complete the notice Form: Associations Incorporation Form 4, (iii) Return the Original Certificate of Incorporation, iv) Business name Registration of the new name once approval notification.
- Resolve that all the associated fees and charges relative to the special resolutions stated are paid by the Legal Entity herein.Name change: 80.50 Business Registry: $98 Postage: $ as required, Miscellaneous: $100 (up to) if applicable
